We are a family friendly and small group educational experience open to the public by appointment. Located on 300 beautiful acres, our mission is to preserve Blue Ridge Mountain farm culture and promote wellness through nature and horses. Whatever your level of horse enthusiasm, we aim to provide an opportunity for all to experience horses and nature in a beautiful setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. We are a bit of nostalgic countryside where memories are made.
Providing private group experiences for your family or small group, riding is not required, however a Western horseback riding lesson is included for riders up to 180 pounds. Whether you ride or not, you will gain knowledge and confidence here that can be applied wherever you interact with horses in the future.
An experience can include a variety of activities led by a knowledgeable instructor. This range of activities will be customized for the level of interest and prior experience by each member of your group and has an emphasis on safety.
May include:
A horseback riding lesson for anyone under 180lbs,
Pony ride or lead-line horse ride,
Meeting and petting a variety of horse breeds and personalities,
Learning about horse communication,
Hands-on horse care,
Experiencing their beauty as they graze nearby while you enjoy a picnic,
Or getting some much needed R&R under the shade of an oak tree while watching the kids enjoy an age appropriate riding lesson or pony ride.

During spring and fall we offer weekly beginner riding lessons for children and small adults only as our riding horses are on the smaller size (14-15 hands high) and by appointment.
