See below for age specific dates and sessions. Experience is not necessary. Western lessons are provided, and every child is met at the level where they are comfortable. Our top objective is to provide the safest riding experience possible along with a positive mental/emotional experience as well. We strive to ensure every child has fun while learning and growing. What to expect
Our goal is to provide an enjoyable outdoor experience with horses and nature, an opportunity to learn and make friends, and a stress free place to unwind and be a child. Our number one concern is safety both physically and emotionally. We have a ratio of about 2 staff persons for every 5 children.
No experience necessary! Kids will spend time learning how to safely be around horses, about bonding and communication, petting and brushing them, riding on a lead-line or independently depending on skill level. Lessons will also include groundwork exercises.
Each session will be a small group not only for safety, but also to help us customize the experience and make sure it's enjoyable for everyone. Everyone always gets help with the horses.
Besides riding and horse care lessons, we also play games, do crafts, go on nature hikes, cool off in the sprinkler or explore the creek with lots of supervision. Older kids have the evening option to include a traditional campfire setting but still do not spend the night.

Additional Information
Please do not send your child with any symptoms such as runny nose, cough, fever, sore throat, vomiting, etc. Although we do not issue refunds, will be happy to issue you a credit that can be used for a different camp session or future private riding lessons.
