Temporarily closed for the season. Check back with us soon to see updated schedules!
We are an equine program promoting education about horses and nature along with physical and mental wellness on 300 acres of one of the most diverse eco-systems in the world, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.
We emphasize the relationship with horses regardless of whether a person has the ability to ride. We encourage everyone to see horses as having more than a functional purpose of servitude. Many horses are capable of carrying an average size person, however many have physical limitations that could render them bound for the slaughter truck. Those horses have many other attributes to offer if we will stop and listen. And meanwhile, we learn a little bit more about ourselves as well.
Because 1 hour is not enough, sign up for our Interactive 4 hour Adventure and Farm Tour which is an unmounted low stress experience with the horses. Bring a picnic and experience up to 4 hours of the inherently therapeutic qualities of horses and participate in their care and training. No previous experience necessary. By appointment please so that we can give each guest the best possible experience.
The facility includes large pastures, a large fenced arena with amazing majestic views, picnic areas with fire pits, miles of woodland trails, creeks, and even a fishing pond!
We offer beginner riding lessons for children and small adults only as our horses are on the smaller size and only by appointment. We are not a show stable, public trail ride stable, nor rodeo.
Also offering pony rides and birthday parties by appointment!
Plan a visit for the day or an extended stay.
If you have symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, we will be happy to credit your paid reservation for an alternate day.
We love our horses and our customers! For everyone's safety, please schedule an appointment.
