Early Spring 2019 Upper Pasture
The mountains of Western North Carolina have a temperate climate that horses love! Our farm elevation around 3000 feet above sea level keeps summers mild and refreshing, while still having short manageable Southern winters. Spring is early and fall leaf color is splendid. The Western North Carolina ecosystem is one of the most amazing on the planet!
On 300 acres with woodland trails, a large outdoor arena with majestic views, and large pastures, we limit the number of horses on the property in order to optimize safety...both for human social distancing and for horses to be in small herds with buddies they get along with. The horses get to live in an amazing natural setting without being locked in a stall.
It is our desire to promote happy healthy horses. It allows you to focus on enjoying your passion in your own way whether you're training for that next endurance race, relaxing with your own therapy horse, or knowing that your retired soulmate is happy and cared for.
You get access to the outdoor arena and miles of trails for your personal use. Bring a picnic and spend the day. As a boarding client we do ask that you alert us via text as to your arrival and departure in order to help us monitor that all riders return safely.
