We're a happy horse focused farm on 300 acres of countryside about an hour from Asheville, NC near Spruce Pine and Burnsville.
Looking for a horse boarding facility where your horse gets the level of care the same as being stalled, but has room to run or just relax with a buddy? Or maybe you're looking for a peaceful setting for you as well? Or you'd like onsite trails to explore with your best friend? We think you'll enjoy it here.
It is our desire to provide the setting and care which can promote the health and happiness of horses and their owners. On 300 acres with woodland trails, an outdoor arena with majestic views, and large pastures, we limit the number of horses on the property in order to optimize safety and to create a peaceful environment.
You get access to the outdoor arena and miles of trails for your personal use. Bring a picnic and spend the day. As our boarding client, we do ask that you alert us via text as to your arrival and departure in order to help us coordinate activities and monitor that everyone returns safely.
Board includes:
- Large pasture with shelter
- Inspection, monitoring, and individualized care
- 24/7 free movement with free access to water and salt/minerals
- Stall available for emergencies (up to 14 days)
- Grass and/or hay
- Feed and supplements (provided by you) delivered to your horse as requested
- Access to miles of wooded trails for walks, rides, endurance training, or picnics. (BRHA reserves the right to assess riders ability and restrict trail use for safety, and riding with a buddy is always encouraged.)
- Access to outdoor arena with amazing mountain view and picnic area
- Weekly grooming in your absence
- Blanketing and un-blanketing - blanket provided by you the horse owner
- Holding for farrier or vet upon request
- Unlimited farm visits for personal use
- Updates and pictures upon request
- On-site management lives on farm
2024 Prices:
$600/month/horse placement with small herd (2-3 horses per pasture and shelter).
$800/month/horse private pasture and shelter for your horse only (may have an adjacent pasture with other horses nearby.
